Izzy and I are alike in many ways. We both love cheesecake, fish sticks, singing, reading, bubble baths, and playing outside. We love to play practical jokes, laugh really loud, snuggle, and hang with Scott. But there is at least one thing that is quite different about us. She LOVES the snow, and I, I do not. She'd be out playing in the snow everyday if I'd allow it. She loves the magic of it all. She loves to eat the fresh snow and make snow angels. She loves to build snowmen and hear the crunching sound under her feet. And most of all, she LOVES to go sledding. Lucky for Iz, Scotty is a really good sport and is always willing to play with her in the snow. He doesn't mind the wet, soggy, stinky, mess that inevitabley follows playing in the snow. He doesn't mind the frozen appendages, aching legs, runny noses, or windburned faces. He really is a 'dream' daddy.

So, I'll stay inside and make the hot chocolate. I'll clean up the wet mess. I'll take a hot bath with Iz to warm her up. And I'll snuggle with her after all is said and done and listen to her tell stories of how great her day of snow play was.

But, I'll definitely leave the icky play-in-the-snow-stuff to Scott.
